Hell Yeah, You Can Write a Song!
ASSIGNMENT: work on your song/production for your hotseat
Here’s where you should schedule some time for yourself on a regular basis to work on your ongoing project. I recommend blocks of time where you take inspiration from the “Find Your Sonic Bliss” exercise and put yourself in the creative zone as much as possible.
When it’s time for your hotseat, you’ll have a limited amount of time to share your song and get feedback, if desired. When you share, it’s good to have some focus on the kind of feedback you’re wanting, so as you’re working, jot down any questions or challenges you want to bring to the group for support. Part of the fun of this cohort-based learning is that you are doing your own individual work, but you’re not doing it alone.
