8:30 - 9:30 PM EST

Can't wait to start recording with you...

Welcome to DIY.

This workshop will help “demystify” the basics of any at-home recording process.

You’ll leave with gear recommendations, some instructions on how to set things up, and newfound confidence as you approach recording your next song. We want you to look forward to making music from the comfort of your home.

Come join us for this 1-hour workshop! Bring any questions, hesitations, or particular circumstances you might have that have been keeping you from taking this next big step in your musical journey. We’ve all been there and can’t wait to help you progress!

FAQs:

What if I’m afraid to show what i don’t know?

– Hey, we’re all in this together! You can safely bet that there will be others in the same boat as you. There are zero expectations or prerequisites coming into this 1-hour workshop. We are here to meet you where you’re at and help you grow and feel more comfortable.

Do I need a Mac to record myself?

– Absolutely not! This workshop will focus at least partially on some setups that work for any computer. As we get more specific, we will be demonstrating “next steps” on a Mac, so this workshop will benefit Mac users most – especially those looking to explore DAWs that run on Mac computers, like GarageBand or Logic.

How do I know if I have the right gear?

– For this workshop, you don’t need anything as it will mostly be a demonstration. But if you have gear that you’d like to show off or ask questions about, please do so! For those without any gear, we’ll do an overview of what would best suit a DIY basic home studio setup as well as give you an idea of what it’ll cost you!
